Worked with a team of six producers to produce the daily show Atlas Obscura and a team of three producers to produce the weekly show The Sporkful.

Field reported, produced, and hosted an episode of Atlas Obscura titled, “Fluorescent Rocks of Sterling Hill Mine.”

Used Pro Tools to assemble ads, completed pre-interview research, and pulled selects from transcriptions to help keep up with the publication cycle.

Edited episodes from outline stage to final draft and provided editorial insight that helped shape the stories that were published.

Reported and produced two episodes on a podcast called Onomatopoeia, one focused on a trans drag queen navigating their gender expression at their day job.

Created three narrative-style podcast episodes, one about how a 15-year-old had to evacuate his family during Hurricane Harvey and another about an opera singer who experienced a career-threatening injury.

Individually filmed and edited multiple short documentaries, with topics ranging from a man who picks up trash in his neighborhood every day at 6 a.m. to inspire others to keep NYC clean, to a profile of an artist who uses their background in commercial prop fabrication to create artwork.

Directed and produced a longform film with a partner about displaced families living in hotels and the lack of resources they’ve been provided following the January 9th fire in the Bronx.

Vice Chair of Development, Women in Music, D.C. September 2020 – August 2021

Identified and booked notable and up-and-coming artists in the D.C. area for events such as panels or performances where we streamed to hundreds of WIM members.

Led funding for the Washington, D.C. branch of this national non-profit to plan events that increase opportunities for women in the music industry.

Communicated with donors for the National and International Committees for the Arts and tracked funding through the database Tessitura, which holds information about hundreds of donors and millions of dollars in donations.

Substitute Teacher, Stafford County School District December 2020 – June 2021

Rotated and adapted to classrooms every one to sixty days to teach elementary through middle school students.

Spent several months in a sixth-grade class and several months in a second-grade class and worked specifically with students with learning disabilities as they were adjusting to in-person learning after the start of the pandemic.

Assembled research into 10 briefings and reports for Congressional staff on issues such as health care and the environment. Wrote speeches for the Congressman to honor specific members of the Congressional district community. Answered phone calls and entered constituent concerns into the Congressional database.
